That’s tied with last summer’s mention of a similar drive and $28 under the lowest total price we could find now for such a drive elsewhere. (We’ve seen 1TB models as low as $50 shipped, but not since last summer.) This 500GB 7200 rpm external hard drive features an aluminum casing, 16MB cache, eSATA and USB combo port, FireWire 800 port, and FireWire 400 port.
