Fry’s Electronics retail stores offer the Apple iPhone 4S 16GB Worldphone for $97 when you upgrade or activate a new 2-year contract. That’s $53 under our mention from two weeks ago (which included a $100 AmEx card from Sprint) and the best deal we’ve seen for an iPhone 4S 16GB on any carrier. (It’s also $102 less than Apple’s price.) Sales tax is added where applicable. The iPhone 4S is powered by the Apple A5 dual-core processor and features a new 8-megapixel camera which is capable of recording 1080p video at 30 fps with image stabilization. A dual-antenna system has also been added, which purportedly provides faster downloads and improved call quality on both CDMA and GSM networks. It also features AirPlay Mirroring, Siri voice-activated assistant, an 8-hour battery life, and more.
Fry’s Electronics retail stores also offer the Apple iPhone 4S 64GB Worldphone for $177 when you upgrade or activate a new 2-year contract. That’s $173 under our June mention of a 64GB refurb with a 2-year contract from AT&T Wireless. (Apple charges $399.)
A 2-year contract is required, although it’s not clear which carriers are eligible. Click here to find the nearest Fry’s location.
