Today Philips unleashed 3 new HD monitors, one geared towards the home-user and two for business.

The Philips Brilliance 29” UltraWide Monitor is made with consumers in mind as it sports built-in stereo speakers, a 21:9 aspect ratio and an incredible 2560 x 1080 resolution for amazing image clarity.  Even more impressive, the Philips Brilliance UltraWide Monitor supports simultaneous multiple inputs. For example, you can have live TV on one side on the screen and your laptop desktop on the other half to help take multitasking to the next level.  Input interfaces include Dual link DVI, Display Port, universal HDMI connector, or optional Thunderbolt.

The Philips Brilliance UltraWide Monitor is available now from Amazon for $682, 3% below the retail of $700.

The two enterprise monitors Philips released are the P-line 27” Quad HD Monitor ($899) and P-line 29” UltraWide Monitor ($799). The focus on these is image quality and flexible connectivity options.

The P-Line monitors support “8 bit color depth combined with 109 ppi density, you can now enjoy professional true color sRGB images.”  In an effort to save energy, the PowerSensor feature automatically decreases screen brightness when it senses the user leave the room.  Connectivity options include Dual link DVI, Display Port, universal HDMI connector, or optional Thunderbolt.  Both P-Line monitors are also available now at Amazon and CDW.
