Games/Apps: Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword $40, 1TB Madden Xbox One + 50″ Samsung HDTV $850, freebies, more

Update (8/23 8:20pm):

In today’s best game/app deals, Rakuten is offering The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword for $39.99 shipped. That’s up to $15 off the regular prices, $5 under the next best and the lowest we have seen since in over a year. While most Nintendo games rarely get price drops like the 2DS is about to, with Skyward Sword it’s few and far between. This is a Wii game, but it will play on your Wii U no problem with a Wii Remote.

Ride your Loft Bird across the skies, exploring floating islands, taking on quests and searching for treasure. Find rare materials that upgrade weapons, items, and shields.

Next up, Best Buy has another console HDTV deal on. You can grab the 1TB Madden 16 Xbox One bundle plus a Samsung 50-inch Class LED 1080p Smart HDTV in Black for $849.98 shipped. If you haven’t seen the hilarious new commercial “Madden 16: The Movie”, you can check it out here.
