Amazon Whole Foods Black Friday

We’ve seen tons of Black Friday sales leak the past few days. From Walmart to Best Buy, Home Depot, and more, there’s something on sale for everyone. A theme that most stores are all sharing is smart assistant sales this Black Friday. Several retailers have things like the Amazon Echo and Google Home on sale, even Amazon themselves, but where else can you get fantastic deals on a new smart home assistant? Well, Whole Foods, of course.

Who would have thought you’d be able to walk into a Whole Foods store and buy a smart assistant, let alone score some of the best Black Friday discounts at the same time? Surely not I.

Since Amazon bought Whole Foods, they’ve started to give out discounts to Prime members at their local stores. Today, Amazon announced some Black Friday discounts they’re bringing to Whole Foods stores around the country, as well as their Pop-Up stores. Discounts are listed below, but they have things like $20 off the new Echo, $30 off the Echo Plus, and more.

Amazon also talked about their new Pop-Up stores, announcing the locations and dates. November 13th, there will be Pop-Up stores at Whole Foods Markets in Chicago, Illinois and Rochester Hills, Michigan. On the 14th, you can expect to see the Pop-Up stores in Davie, Florida and Pasadena, California. If you live near the new Union Station store in Denver, Colorado, then you can expect to see the Pop-Up store visit on the 15th of November.

At these staffed Pop-Up stores, you can try out Amazon devices and learn more about services that the online giant offers. There will be more information for consumers about Amazon’s services like Prime and Prime Video available to all visitors to the staffed Pop-Up locations.

Also announced today were ways that your current Echo can help you this Thanksgiving season. Alexa can give you Thanksgiving recipes, add things to your Thanksgiving shopping list, tell you how long to cook a turkey, and more.

  • Alexa, tell me a Thanksgiving recipe.
  • Alexa, add Whole Foods Market chocolate truffles to my Thanksgiving list.
  • Alexa, how long does it take to cook a 10 lb turkey?
  • Alexa, set a pecan pie timer for 30 minutes.
