9to5Toys Specials currently has the ExoMount Touch Universal Car Mount for $20 with free shipping. This popular car mount for any smartphone including iPhone 6/plus gets impressive 4.3/5 star ratings at Amazon where is is $10 more expensive with tax in more places.

Fumbling around with your phone while driving isn’t a good idea, but if it is properly mounted, you can operate the touchscreen while staying focused on the road. The ExoMount’s suction cup can actually be attached to your car’s dashboard with one hand, and it swivels easily through 360º to the ideal angle. That makes it pretty useful for using GPS apps or making hands-free calls, but it can fix to any flat or rounded surface, so it is useful around the house (e.g. your desk), as well. It happily takes any device up to phablet size, and the suction cup is easily washable.

  • Attaches and releases your smartphone with one touch
  • Mounts to any flat, smooth, textured, curved, or rounded surface
  • Attaches to more than just the car; use on a desk or wall
  • Easily rotates and swivels 360 degrees
  • Sleek and clean design
  • Installs in less than a minute
  • Washable and reusable suction cup
  • Works with a wide range of devices — smartphones from 2.31’’ (58.8mm) to 3.46’’ (85.6mm) wide

Update: (2/21 12:05pm): @jayrodesign is our winner – thank you to everyone that entered our contest.

As advances in machinery and technology continue to progress in there modern world, there have been many “deaths” along the way in how our goods are manufactured. Many of the big brands that strive to create identical products over and over again, losing the unique aspect that comes with human interaction during the manufacturing process. Every single stitch must be perfect or the shirt gets tossed. Each cut is exactly the same for every pair of jeans on the rack.

While the precise nature of our evolving technology world is nice, many of the goods that we encounter lack that personal feel. Cord Shoes of Atlanta, Georgia does just the opposite of that. Proprietor Sarah Green, is creating beautiful handmade boots and accessories with skills that she has learned on her own. It’s a story that involves hard work, late hours and a lucky batch of Hurricane Katrina flooded machinery.

Today, we are going to tell you about Cord Shoes.

Our last Gaming For Couples article looked at Nintendo’s Wii U as a complete package — it’s arguably the easiest console to recommend to casual gamers, lapsed players, and young families. But Microsoft’s Xbox One has started to surge as an alternative. For only $50 more than the Wii U, you get a much more powerful console, and unlike Nintendo, Microsoft has the support of a huge number of third-party developers.

There’s another big difference: even top-selling Xbox One games are discounted, which makes this console a great choice to play both Microsoft exclusives and cross-platform releases. In this week’s Gaming For Couples, we walk through the best Xbox One bundle options, as well as the top couple-friendly games, demos, and accessories out there.

Logitech is the go-to brand for most gamers when it comes to headsets, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals. They are well-rated and stylish, but the only problem is they don’t come cheap. However, we’ve noticed that Amazon has started to discount a wide variety of Logitech accessories. Not all are gaming related, but most are.

Small States features small companies that design and manufacture within the United States.

Need a bag? There are so many different styles and brands out there, you’ll find something. But it isn’t until you find that perfect match that you truly understand what you’ve been missing.

For me, this happened with Waterfield Designs’ Staad Laptop Backpack. I’ve long been searching for a bag that could meet all of my on-the-go needs. I’ve tried the Ogio Renegade, which can carry everything you need (and feels like it too). I’ve tried the traditional leather messenger bag, but that struggled to handle everything I threw at it. It wasn’t until I came across the Staad that I realized what I’ve been missing.
