Twelve South HiRise metal stand for iPhone/iPad mini $30 (Reg. $35)

Amazon is offering the Twelve South HiRise metal stand for iPhone/iPad mini for $30.24 with free 2-day shipping for Prime members (free trial). All other buyers will need to spend $35+ to sidestep freight charges. This is the first price drop of any kind we have seen for this particular stand and is even more noteworthy since Twelve South are notoriously stingy with discounts.

9to5Mac’s thoughts on the HiRise:

The stand is sturdy and my iPhone 5 and iPad mini both can sit in the HiRise securely. I am not worried about my devices falling off of the stand. The aluminum materials that the stand is made from are very robust and of similar color and texture to the aluminum that Apple uses for the base of the iMac and LED/Thunderbolt Display stands.

Note this is a BYOLC (Bring Your Own Lightning Cable) product and it only works with the official Apple Lightning cable because some 3rd party options have larger connectors that will not fit in the HiRise. However, the stand will accommodate your iPhone in nearly any case (even OtterBoxes!).
