Skylanders Battlegrounds goes FREE on iOS (Reg. $7)

Activision is offering its popular Skylanders Battlegrounds app FREE down from $6.99 on iOS. The game went as low as $2.99 back in Holiday season 2013, but today marks the very first time gamers can grab the title for completely free on the App Store.

Battlegrounds lets you play as two different Skylanders simultaneously, upgrade and unlock new weapons, and import your Skylanders collection using the Bluetooth Portal of Power or Secret Codes. While the game does not require it, the game is integrated with the Mobile Starter Pack for iOS which comes with the physical Bluetooth portal and three characters to instantly swap out Skylanders like in the console counterpart. The Skylanders Battlegrounds: Mobile Starter Pack is currently $26.49 on Amazon down from its regular $40.
