A few new notable apps and updates have hit the App Store recently including the new Madden NFL Mobile game from EA, The Walking Dead Pinball app from popular pinball app maker Zenn Studios and a pretty substantial update to NAMCO BANDAI’s Ridge Racer Slipstream.

EA’s new Madden NFL Mobile is a free-to-play title that is described as fast-paced and original Madden game that has been built specifically for mobile from the ground-up. You can customize your roster with current and legendary NFL stars for quick matches and shootouts or a full 16 game season on a run for the Super Bowl. It has online action with head-to-head multiplayer as well live events and challenges.
Also released yesterday, Madden 15 for consoles is currently available for $49.99 shipped (Reg. $60) for PS4 and Xbox One on eBay or bundled with an Xbox One console and a $35 gift card at Target for $399.99 ($485+ value).
Next up, The Walking Dead Pinball is Zen Studios’ latest pinball creation for iOS. In partnership with developer Telltale Games and Skybound Entertainment, the new pinball app has much of the same mechanics as other highly rated Zenn pinball machines as well as a table that features many of the iconic locations from the award-winning The Walking Dead game series. You’ll also hear original voice acting done by actors from the game like Dave Fennoy and Melissa Hutchison.
Compatible for both iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, The Walking Dead Pinball is available now to download for $1.99. This table is also coming available as DLC on a number of other platforms including consoles, PC and Mac.
Lastly, NAMCO BANDAI’s Ridge Racer Slipstream is getting some nice updates on the App Store including new vehicles, race tracks, and challenges. The fast paced racing title, which released earlier this year is getting 4 new vehicles including the Kamata Synci, RC410, the Lucky Wild Evolver and the Soldat Rauna, along with 2 new race tracks: the Seacrest District and Surfside Resort. There are also new Masters’ Class 1 career mode challenges, races, battles and achievements.
Ridge Racer Slipstream would normally run you $3, but is currently available for free for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
