Yesterday we let you know about Best Buy’s 2-Day sale that includes sizable iMac and Mac mini discounts. Best Buy’s College Student offer takes an additional $100 off select iMac models for anyone with access to a .edu email address. The student promo states that it’s for MacBook or iMac computers, however we discovered this morning that it’s also working on Mac mini. That discount stacks on top of the $50-$70 sale to yield some of the biggest Mac mini discounts we’ve ever seen:
- Mac mini 1.4GHz/4GB/500GB (MGEM2LL/A): $350 w/ .edu or $450 w/o (Reg. $499)
- Mac mini 2.6Ghz/8GB/1TB (MGEN2LL/A): $530 w/ .edu or $630 w/o (Reg. $699)
At these prices it’s definitely much easier to justify hooking one up to your TV as a sweet iTunes server.
