In today’s best game/app deals, Best Buy has the Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition on Xbox One and PS4 for $29.99 with free in-store pickup or free shipping on orders over $35 (matched on Best Buy’s eBay Store, but with an additional $2.99 shipping). That’s $20 under the regular price, around $10 better than Amazon and the best we can find. It includes all of the game’s DLC including The Lord of the Hunt and The Bright Lord Story Campaigns, Challenge Modes, skins, runes and more.
Over at Amazon you’ll find Borderlands: The Handsome Collection on PS4 for $35.99 and on Xbox One for $39.99 shipped (Reg. up to $60, matched at Best Buy on Xbox One version). You’ll also find the not-so-great, but good for a laugh Godzilla for PS4 down at $39.99 shipped (Reg. $60, matching lowest we have seen).
Best Buy has Dying Light on PS4 and Xbox One for $29.99 (Reg. $50, current lowest), but its deal on LEGO Jurassic World has been beat over on Amazon but a few bucks.
As for hardware, Amazon has the highly rated Nyko Intercooler to keep your Xbox One cool for $18.32 Prime shipped (Reg. $25, lowest we can find). GameStop began taking in-store preorders for Wave 6 retro 3-pack amiibo this past weekend. Pre-orders are first come, first served, one pack per customer, and quantities are expected to be limited. This announcement comes on the heels of the release of Amazon-exclusive Palutena on July 27 and Best Buy-exclusive Dark Pit on July 31. The rest of Wave 6—Zero Suit Samus, Ganondorf, Dr. Mario, Bowser Jr., and more —are expected to hit shelves in September. According to Nintendo, two versions of the 30th Anniversary Mario edition amiibos (classic andmodern) will also make an appearance.
