With Christmas just around the corner and James Bond hitting theaters a few weeks back, it’s perfect timing for Rolls Royce to introduce a new luxury cocktail kit. The limited edition Cocktail Hamper packs everything needed to make the perfect drink. Whether shaken or stirred, all the proper utensils can be found in this kit. However, finding one of these hampers is going to be a tough task. Only a handful are set for production.
Naturally, Rolls-Royce is not sparing any expense when it comes to its Cocktail Hamper. Sina Maria Eggl, who designs all of Rolls-Royce’s accessories was behind the stunning design. The inside is made from pure American Walnut and is set off by natural grain leather. Rolls-Royce used one of Europe’s top glass makers, Theresienthal, to craft the stemware found in the collection. Each of the glasses are finished with platinum on the rims. The attention to detail across the entire kit is stunning and would certainly be a conversation piece. That is, if you can even get your hands on one.
Beneath the Navy Blue leather lid, you’ll find every necessary piece to crafting “the perfect cocktail”. Every tool and glass has its own special resting place within the kit. There are glasses, a walnut muddler, a ‘RR’ monogrammed strainer, moveable racks, recipe storage and custom cloth linens hidden within.
Don’t expect to see any of the Rolls Royce Cocktail Hampers at a dealership near you. At this time, the automotive manufacturer is only planning to release 15 worldwide in an effort to “ensure exclusivity”. Pricing has yet to be announced, but lets just say we don’t plan on posting a deal on this item any time soon.

ROLLS-ROYCE CELEBRATES THE COCKTAIL HOUR WITH LIMITED EDITION HAMPER
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is delighted to present a limited edition Cocktail Hamper, conceived to meet the needs of customers who wish to relax and enjoy something a little beyond the traditional glass of Champagne.
This elegant vision is realised through a marriage of hallmark Rolls-Royce attention-to-detail and remarkable craftsmanship. The designer behind its creation, Rolls-Royce Accessories Designer Sina Maria Eggl, consulted with experts from Dorchester Collection’s London Hotels, The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane, to ensure the Hamper is perfectly appointed to cater for a vast selection of classic and contemporary cocktails.
The Hamper itself is meticulously hand-crafted over a period of eight weeks from American Walnut Wood and the finest Natural Grain Leather that adorn the interior of some Rolls-Royce motor cars.
On opening the Navy Blue leather-bound lid, the customer is presented with every necessary accoutrement required to create and enjoy the perfect cocktail. Each implement is a bespoke, hand-made creation designed to combine beautiful aesthetics with practicality, ensuring effortless use. Indeed, the notions of effortlessness and supreme luxury inform everything about the design. The paring knife, for example, is magnetically housed in a recess hewn into the American Walnut structure thereby ensuring it is stored and transported in safety and without disturbance. On opening, an automatic integrated light illuminates the Hamper in a warm glow, in turn reflecting from the mirrored surfaces to evoke the aesthetic of a luxurious cocktail bar.
“Each motor car that we craft represents a deeply personal expression of individual customer tastes and lifestyles. This extraordinary scope for personalisation extends far beyond the car itself through an Accessories Collection, featuring exceptional objects designed to augment the lifestyles of the marque’s customers,” said Gavin Hartley, Head of Bespoke Design, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. “This beautifully executed Cocktail Hamper illustrates the marque’s intimate understanding of the desires of the most discerning patrons of luxury in the world; Rolls-Royce customers.”
Every possible application is considered and ingeniously executed. Should the user wish to present their guests with canapés, two dishes find their place in the lower portion of the Hamper, either side of an ice bucket, whilst discreet drawers hold recipe cards and fine cotton napkins. The upper tier of the Hamper, containing tumblers, decanters and a shaker, is adorned in a Golden Sand coloured leather, selected for its vibrancy, offset with polished aluminium.
Smaller utensils including a muddler finished in American Walnut and a strainer engraved with the ‘RR’ monogram are securely stored on a specially developed moveable rack that can be locked when not in use and moved via a hinge to ensure effortless access when required.
Only the very finest materials, sourced from the world’s best suppliers adorn a Rolls-Royce motor car, with this philosophy extending in this instance to the choice of glassware. Theresienthal, Europe’s most revered glassmaker and supplier of many of the Continent’s Royal Courts, was chosen for their unique dedication to artisanal hand-craftsmanship.
The glasses themselves take one month to complete owing to the utilisation of a time-honoured technique that sees the glass blown into beech wood moulds, guaranteeing an exceptionally smooth surface. Many of the Theresienthal craftspeople represent the fifth generation of their family to work at the foundry. The presence of the human hand at every stage of the production process ensures no two glasses are the same, with almost imperceptible differences attributable only to the glasses’ master craftsperson.
As an exclusive flourish, designed to express the delicacy of the glasses themselves, the rims are finished in platinum.
Finally, a perfect service is guaranteed through the inclusion of a glass tray, discreetly and safely housed beneath the integrated wooden chopping board, ensuring drinks are presented to guests in consummate Rolls-Royce luxury. As a finishing touch, a book containing a series of cocktail recipes inspired by the marque’s extraordinary heritage completes the set.
Only 15 of these exquisitely crafted hampers will be produced, ensuring their exclusivity. Customers wishing to acquire one can do so through one of the marque’s 130 dealerships across the globe.
