Amazon Fire TV 4K Streaming Media Player w/ Voice Remote: $85 shipped (Reg. $100), more

Amazon is discounting its latest Fire TV with Voice Remote down to $84.99 shipped. Outside of Black Friday, today’s deal is a match of the best price we’ve seen for this 4K-capable streaming media player. It typically sells for $100 and has only dropped this low a handful of times since it was released last fall. Amazon has also taken $15 off the Fire TV Gaming Edition (now $124.99) and Fire TV + HD Antenna Bundle (now $109.99).

Features include a quad-core processor “with 75% more processing power than the previous generation Amazon Fire TV,” dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, 2GB of memory and 8GB of on-board storage with support for up an additional 128GB through a microSD port. It offers “instant access” to Netflix, Amazon Video, HBO NOW, Hulu, Sling TV and other streaming services. Rated 3.9 out of 5 stars from 4,805 Amazon reviewers.

Amazon Fire TV Voice Remote has a built-in mic so you can instantly search TV shows, movies, actors, and genres using just your voice—no more typing with your remote to find what you want. Voice search is supported for the entirety of Amazon’s video, music, app, and game catalog, plus for Hulu, HBO GO, Crackle, Showtime, and Starz. Please note that voice search does not work directly inside individual applications, like Netflix.
