Games/Apps: Guitar Hero Live iOS $50, Battlefield Hardline from $20, GTA Trilogy for Mac $6, freebies, more

Update (3/15 10:25am):

Amazon is offering Guitar Hero Live on iOS for $49.99 shipped (matched at Best Buy). That’s as much as $50 below some listings, $20 under the going rate, matching our previous mention and the best we can find. “Awesome Music, Epic Venues: In GH Live, you’ll take the stage in a variety of venues. Experience it all from the intimacy of a small club or the main stage of a massive outdoor festival…The Guitar Controller: The guitar controller was redesigned for the best gameplay across all skill levels.” And we still have the Guitar Hero 2-pack bundle at its lowest price yet: $76.50 (Orig. $150) or plus 15% off for new customers at Jet w/ on-page code.

Speaking of music games, after dropping to $30 yesterday at Best Buy, Rocksmith 2014 with the guitar cable included is down to $30 Prime shipped across all platforms on Amazon. We also have Battlefield Hardline from $19.99 at Best Buy across all platforms (Reg. $40+). Remember, GCU members get even deeper deals at Best Buy. “Cops & Criminals Meet in a World Full of Crime – Lead your crew as detective Nick Mendoza in an episodic crime drama single player Campaign or as cops and criminals in intense high-speed Battlefield multiplayer.”

Before we get into today’s iOS deals, Mac Game Store is currently running a Rockstar sale with a number of notable deals. While everything in the sale is the current lowest price, our top pick is Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy (GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas) for $5.99. Regular between $10 and $30 at Amazon and other retailers, this is the lowest price we can find on the Trilogy bundle for Mac. These three games will run $35 purchased separately on the Mac App Store.

Apple’s 50% off Indie games sale is still live, the latest Free App of the Week is right here, and the Hitman iOS Essentials bundle is still $1. Down below you’ll find the rest of today’s iOS/Mac price drops including A Noble Circle, Crazy Hedgy – Beat ’em up 3D Platformer, Business Card Reader Plus and more.
