BlueSmart is one of the original Indiegogo success stories after launching the first version of its popular app-connected carry-on bags back in 2014. Now, it’s returned with a new Series 2 line that includes a handful of fresh products. That includes a checked and carry-on bag, passport holder, plus a laptop sling. All of which are smartphone-connected via Bluetooth or 3G/GPS depending on the model. More details below.

Series 2 brings a wider range of designs, price points and functionality. The passport pouch has an early bird price of $95 (Reg. $145) and it features Bluetooth connectivity and RFID protection. Jumping up to the laptop bag delivers Bluetooth and a TSA-friendly design for $195 (Reg. $395). Both models offer many of the same basic functionality as the first generation with smartphone-based controls.

Jumping up to BlueSmart’s $275 (Reg. $595) cabin bag delivers 3G and GPS connectivity, as well as room for 38 liters of gear, which is 25% bigger than the previous generation. The $325 (Reg. $695) checked suitcase has a TSA-approved design and three-layer polycabronate shell. It can hold up to 80 liters of gear and also has weight sensors built into the handle that automatically sync with airlines at check-in. Features like USB charging and 36-degree hubless wheels roundout the list of features.

Bluesmart’s Series 2 line of luggage is available for backing over at Indiegogo today. Having already raised 780% of its original goal plus a successful campaign under its belt, you can trust that Bluesmart should deliver units in October without issue.
