The new PAL BT GLO speaker is packed with LED lights to help set the mood as a perfect addition to your summer’s fun.
With an aesthetic that’s far from the likes of Bossa Moonraker’s new mid-century-designed Bluetooth speakers, the PAL BT GLO finds itself on the opposite end of the functionality department as well. Based around the idea that light not only complements but enhances music, the speaker combines these two senses to create a more enjoyable listening experience. Rather than for use strictly at home, Tivoli Audio’s speaker is much more portable.
Housed in a clear-plastic casing with a frosted-glass look, the speaker’s main feature, outside of actually playing audio, is giving off ambient light to help set the mood. While this shows the PAL BT GLO’s emphasis is clearly on aesthetics, it doesn’t mean audio quality will suffer as a result. In fact, it is said to come packed with the same high-end audio you may be accustomed to from other speakers in the company’s lineup.
The PAL BT GLO’s design not only lends itself well towards visually enhancing your surroundings, but also allows for increased portability thanks to the incorporated leather carrying handle. Of course, what good is portability if you’re limited in where the speaker can be used. Weighing in at under 2-lbs, the speaker sports general weather resistance and thanks to the built-in NiMH battery, can achieve up to 16 hours of audio playback.
While Tivoli Audio’s new speaker can connect to any Bluetooth device in order to play your favorite tunes and more, it carries a feature found in other devices from the company, an AM/FM radio antenna. Aside from its interesting translucent casing and LEDs, you won’t find much else functionality-wise not available in most other Bluetooth speakers.

Retailing for $199.99, it can be purchased directly from Tivoli Audio’s site.
