Sometimes it can be overwhelming to sift through the hundreds of deals across all of the different Black Friday ads, even if you know what you’re looking for. And that’s why you have noticed us start to do that job for you. Here are the Best of Black Friday 2017 Amazon, Google and Smart Home deal roundups and you can expect even more throughout the week to get you ready for the holiday shopping bonanza. Like right now, because it’s time to look at the best streaming media player offers…
Apple TV |
Apple TV and Apple TV 4K have been surprisingly absent from most of the major Back Friday 2017 advertisements we have seen thus far. While we certainly didn’t expect to see a massive price drop on the 4K model, it would have been nice to get some solid drops for the holidays here. So far Meijer looks to have the best offer on Apple TV and the 4K model. It is offering a $50 Meijer gift card with the purchase of either machine. But you can only use the $50 GC on “your next shopping trip”.
It is still possible that we will see some kind of last minute drop at Best Buy, Target and even Amazon, but as of right now options are scarce on Apple’s set-top players.

Amazon’s Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote will be dropping down to $24.99 for Black Friday. While it is regularly $40 or so, we have seen it drop to $25 a few times in the past. Unfortunately, we are yet to see official confirmation on a price drop for the new Fire TV Stick 4K bundle Amazon unveiled a few months back.
As we mentioned in our Best of Black Friday Amazon gear round-up, you might want to jump on the $20 Chromecast option (below) or wait to see if this thing drops any lower for Cyber Monday.
Amazon, Best Buy, Staples and Meijer have listed the Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote at $24.99, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see some price matches at other retailers including Target.

Google’s Chromecast streaming adapter isn’t quite as popular as it used to be, in part due to both the aforementioned items. But it is still one the easiest and most inexpensive ways to bring online streaming services to the big screen and elsewhere. The regular $35 dongle will be seeing several price drops for Black Friday 2017 having already been listed down at $24.99 in the Target and Staples ads. However, both Walmart and Best Buy will have the little streamer down at just $19.99 for the holiday.

Despite recently releasing a brand new 4K streaming media stick and offering official price drops on its 4K HDR Ultra Streaming Media Player, Roku has been overshadowed by the competition as of late. The company is hoping the new 4K Roku Streaming Stick+ and the sizable price drop it will see for Black Friday 2017 will help.
Dropping from the regular $69 down to just $48 at Walmart, it might be one of the best 4K streaming adapters out there.
While Roku announced the official price drop, it looks like Walmart is the only major retailer to advertise it so far. In fact, the Walmart-exclusive Roku Express HD dongle will also drop from $40 down to $22 there as well. You can expect to get a free month of Showtime and DirectTV as well as a $5 VUDU credit with purchase.
