LuminAID Smart Solar Garden brings solar powered RGB smart lights outdoors

If you’re outdoors much, you know how difficult lighting can be. Solar lights are nice, but often either small, stuck in the ground, or expensive. I’ve always been looking for a way to have to light outdoors without running cumbersome wires or spending a ton on solar powered stuff. LuminAID is here to change that with the launch of its Smart Solar Garden. Included in the Smart Solar Garden are two lights, the “Gem” which resembles a pyramid and can collapse down for easy transporting, and a “Star” which is just that, a star.

The Gem is the more affordable option at $59 plus shipping. The Gem can stand on its own, float in a pool, or hang from the included handle. As its solar powered, the Gem is perfect to leave on stands along a pathway to help visitors find their way. If you need to move it, the Gem can collapse down into just a pancake shape for easy storage and transportation.

LuminAID’s Star is a great way to add functional hanging light to your outdoor space, and only slightly more expensive than the Gem at $69 plus shipping. Both the Gem and the Star are completely weather sealed so you don’t have to worry about rain or water damaging them. The Star can easily fold up small for transportation or storage, as well. With a built-in eyelet, the Star is easy to hang from any surface.

The shapes aren’t what make the Smart Solar Garden unique though, the features do. Through Bluetooth, you can control both the Gem and Star lights. They have controls for color, power, grouping, and more. The Smart Solar Garden is fully RGB so you can change the mood outside however you see fit.

Grouping isn’t just for color synchronization, however. If you know that people will be outdoors for a certain amount of time, you can tell your Smart Solar Garden to turn off after a specific timeframe. Or, if you’d rather have them always on, you can choose sunset to sunrise and have the lights keep the outdoors illuminated the entire time.

LuminAID has seemingly thought of everything when it comes to powering these lights, though. If it’s not super sunny and you need a quick power boost, there is an included magnetic charger so you can top the battery off without solar rays.

If that wasn’t good enough, for every pledge that LuminAID receives on Kickstarter, they’re donating one solar light to their partners. With delivery scheduled in June of 2018, you will be getting these lights just in time for summer fun. So, if you think LuminAID’s Smart Solar Garden is something you might be interested in, head on over to their Kickstarter page where pledges start at just $59.
