Everyone learns how to tie their shoe laces at an early age, but why should we anymore? With the hassle of laces coming undone and the time it takes in morning to tie them, who needs it? Well, a startup called Zubits has invented magnetic clips for your shoes that make getting in and out of them a snap. They are currently being funded on Indiegogo where they’ve already surpassed their goal of $10,000 by over five times.

The new Zubits closures use an extremely strong and high-tech magnetic to lock you into your shoes with an easy click and step out of your shoes, all done hands-free. So now there’s no more hassle with knots, double knots, or whatever method you use to tie your shoes. The Zubits promise is that you can simplify your shoe game with magnets, and never have to tie up your laces again.  The best part is the magnets work with just about any lace-up shoe type out there. So you won’t have to buy a pair of futuristic no-lace Nike’s or have to be Marty McFly to get this kind of convenience.

Each set of Zubits includes two small magnetic pieces that you can weave your shoe laces into. It’s just like the way you add new laces to a pair of sneakers. Each closure features a clip at the end to ensure they stay in place. When detached, the closures give you more than enough room to easily slip your foot into and out of your shoes.

People have been talking about the Zubits magnetic lacing solution since the company first created them four years ago. Now the company is returning to crowdfunding so they can offer the lacing system for the lowest prices ever. Zubits invented magnetic shoe closures out of their garage in California. Since then, some knockoffs have tried to replicate the convenience of Zubits, but the quality and strength often end up being poor.

The Zubits are available in three sizes, the smallest being just right for young children’s shoes and the biggest being designed for larger individuals. You may think this is just a lazy man’s invention, but to people suffering with arthritis or Parkinson’s disease, Zubits is a great time-saving device.

If you would like Zubits for your shoes you can order some from its Indiegogo campaign site for as low as $12 from its early bird specials. You’ll get one pair of Zubits good for one pair of shoes. You will be able to make color and size choices after the campaign ends in less than a month. Shipping is estimated for January of 2018.
