With a selection of their most popular products from three different time periods, the new items are set to release on three separate dates. Janice Simonsen, Design Spokesperson for IKEA U.S. stated that, “We believe there is a big interest for vintage furniture and actually also for vintage Ikea products,” said Simonsen. “We see that people have an interest in history and heritage–and the products in this collection were chosen, as they are iconic products for the specific time.”

One of our favorite pieces from the new collections is the Strandom Wingback Chair. Its high back is very unique and also helps to provide extra support for your neck. Its suede blue material screams a retro vibe along with its small peg legs.

It’s a must to buy the matching ottoman that makes it easy to prop your feet up and relax. With room for storage, this ottoman is as useful to store remotes, blankets and more. Plus, it is adorable with its price tag of just $99.

Rattan armchairs were popular back in the 50s and they’re coming back in style in today’s home decor. The Gagnet Armchair is handmade and unique, with rounded shapes and detailed designs. It would look extremely cozy with a knit blanket over it for fall decor. Plus, this unique chair is priced at just $80.

The lighting in this collection is a huge blast from the past. IKEA’s KNÄSJÖ Floor Lamp features unique shades that were meant to give a diffused appearance. This light is a perfect option for a college dorm or modern home that wants an additional light.

Finally, the LÖVBACKEN Side Table was designed to be durable, stain resistant and easy to clean. This is also the perfect table to place beside a couch, chair or bed. The story behind this flat table is in the 1950’s a swedish furniture designer and IKEA employee, first tried to fit the original table into a small car and it wouldn’t fit. That’s when they decided on a flat-pack design. This functional table is priced at just $60.
