AOC announces four affordable, curved gaming displays ranging from 24- to 32-inches

In just the past few weeks LG has announced its upcoming 21:9 UltraGear gaming monitors and Samsung opened pre-orders for its new Thunderbolt 3 UltraWide offering. With new monitor releases coming out left and right, it can be hard to stay up-to-date and be sure that you have found the right fit for your setup. While all of the options can be overwhelming, hefty competition tends to lead to better pricing and typically means that more features tend to come standard. In this fierce climate, AOC has announced four new gaming monitors that pack a punch while also being fairly affordable.

Having received multiple awards for its growth and performance, AOC has shown that it is a company that should not be underestimated. With good reviews, low pricing, and stylish offerings, AOC monitors can be an ideal solution for many consumers.

While the company already has a nice selection of monitors available to choose from, it is adding four curved options that range from 24- to 32-inches in size. All of AOC’s G1 Series monitors offer a fluid 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and AMD FreeSync. While these features seem standard in many gaming monitors, pricing tends to float around $250 for these specs in many other company’s non-curved offerings.

The monitors also come with slim top and side bezels, a trend that we are seeing in most displays these days. AOC states that the slim bezels offer “enhanced immersion” and are for great multi-monitor set ups.

Multi-monitor set ups have become commonplace in not only productivity set ups, but in gaming battlestations as well. The frameless curved design results in thin bezels around the top and sides of the monitors for enhanced immersion. Multiple monitor setups are ideal for an immersive widescreen experience, streaming on Twitch or watching a favorite stream while gaming.

Three out of four of AOC’s new monitors offer 1080p resolution with its most-expensive CQ32G1 option packing QHD. Port options are what you would expect with HDMI and VGA on all options.

AOC’s new monitors sport its FlickerFree technology which is aimed at reducing ‘eye strain, discomfort, and fatigue during long gaming sessions’, something that all gamers are sure to appreciate.

The 24- and 27-inch offerings C24G1 and C27G1 are available for pre-order on Amazon and are priced at $229.99 and $279.99 respectively with ship dates of September 15, 2018. The company’s 32-inch offerings referred to as C32G1 and CQ32G1 are not currently listed as they will not be available until “later this year”. When they are available, the C32G1 will cost $299.99 and the CQ32G1 will be priced at $399.99.
