Walmart is offering Apple’s iPad Air Wi-Fi 16GB in Space Gray or Silver for $299 shipped. That’s around $100 below the average selling price, matching our previous mention and the best price we can find by $50 from a trusted seller. In fact, Apple charges $40 more for a refurbished model.

This model has a 9.7-inch Retina display, built-in Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n), up to 10 hours of battery life, 5MP iSight camera, 1080p video, and more.

If you’re looking for a little more storage, Walmart is also offering the 64GB Wi-Fi Air in Space Gray for $349 shipped. That’s around $70 under the going rate from a trusted dealer and the best we can find by about the same amount. Apple charges $419 for a refurbished 64GB model.

While we already have word that a brand new iPad Air 3 is on the way, Apple will obviously be reaching much deeper into your pocket than today’s deal for those.

Synology has announced a new model in its line of popular Network Attached Storage devices with the DS415play. An updated, 4 bay-version of the DS214play that was revealed last fall, the latest model is also designed with your home entertainment and media experience in mind. Featuring full 1080p video transcoding, the DS415play can efficiently store and beam all of your media content to your home network with fast, multi-channel streaming.

It features a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom CE5335 “Evansport” CPU with 1 GB of DDR3 RAM and four hot swappable 2.5 or 3.5-inch drive bays. You can pack up to 24TB of solid state or traditional hard drive storage into one of these. As for connectivity, the new DS415play has a single Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 2.0 ports and three USB 3.0 ports.

It runs Synology’s latest DSM 5.0 software, which features an easy to use interface with several handy content streaming apps built right in.
