In previous years, this has been the best time to score deep discounts on TVs, Apple gear, smart home accessories, and much more. When is Black Friday 2022?

This year’s Black Friday festivities will officially kick off on November 24, 2022, the day following Thanksgiving in the United States. We’ll likely see many of the headlining deals go live starting the Sunday before on November 20, though don’t expect to see the doorbusters until Black Friday proper.

Various retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Target will all offer in-store doorbusters and promotions starting on Thanksgiving Day. Other retailers will be closed on Thursday, not opening their doors until Black Friday proper.

Amazon will be offering a rotating cast of deals throughout Black Friday, with new offers popping up every hour on its Gold Box landing page. There will also be a number of Lightning Deals at Amazon, which are sure to sell out quickly throughout the Black Friday festivities.

What retailers do Black Friday?

Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and others are all expected to offer notable deals throughout Black Friday. Based on past years, Amazon is likely to price match most offers from its competitors. Target will be offering 5% off for RedCard members along with free shipping. Best Buy and Walmart will also feature additional perks for shoppers.

Of course, more minor retailers will also be offering notable Black Friday promotions throughout Thanksgiving week. Fashion retailers will also be ramping up with aggressive discounts on a wide range of styles. Our fashion guide will be continually stocked with notable promotions.
