While there are a number of notable deals in the sale, our top picks include Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One for $28.99 shipped (Reg. $35+) and Star Wars: Battlefront on PS4 (digital voucher) and Xbox One for $33 shipped. And while Call of Duty: Black Ops III for PlayStation 4 is also available for $33, Amazon has matched that deal with free Prime shipping. That’s nearly 50% below the orignal listing, about $8 under the going rate, matching the lowest Amazon has ever offered it for and within a few dollars of the all-time low. Update (12/29 3:30pm): Microsoft has kicked off week two of the Xbox Store’s digital sale. Notable titles include: Fallout 4, Gears of War Ultimate Edition and Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain. You’ll find well over 50 deals for Xbox One and another handful of title for Xbox 360. View the entire sale here. Discounts are set to be available until January 7th.

Microsoft has launched the Xbox Store’s “biggest sale ever”. The Countdown is set to run for 17 days will deals on “hundreds of games, movies, TV shows and apps.” The sale kicked off today with a set of deals which will be refreshed periodically through the end of the year. Additionally, there will be daily specials that offer greater discounts along the way and extra savings for Gold Members.

Amazon is stepping into the world of midnight video game releases in a major way this year. While usually it’s the other major retailers like Best Buy and Walmart offering late night game sales, Amazon will be offering midnight deliveries through its Prime Now service of the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops III on Friday November 6th, the game’s official release date. Basically speaking, you can get Black Ops 3 delivered to your front door within hours (or less) of it releasing Friday at midnight. As many of us have been expecting, Sony has now officially announced a series of price drops on PlayStation 4. All 6 of the latest PS4 bundles are getting as much as a $50 price drop permanently in the U.S. and Canada. While we tend to see discounted bundles on a regular basis that rival the new prices, this will likely mean those deals will start getting even deeper. The sale is scheduled to kick-off tomorrow October 9th.
