In today’s best game/app deals, as part of its Gold Box Deals of the Day, Amazon is offering Deadpool on PS4 and Xbox One for $24.99 with free shipping for Prime member or in orders over $35. That’s 50% below the original $50 price tag and $5 below the next best price and the lowest we have seen it go for. While it may not have received the best reviews, the game was praised for its hilarious dialogue and cutaways. It’s a fun little experience that might be worth it for some under $30. Best Buy GCU members can get it for even less right now.

While Best Buy is still offering 10% off iTunes gift cards as well as BOGO 20% off PSN/Nintendo e-Shop cards, and more, it is now offering 50% off select official game guides from $8, including Fallout 4, Halo 5, Star Wars Battlefront, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Black Ops 3, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and more. Today, we are getting our first major discount on the The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Collector’s Edition: Prima Official Game Guide (hardcover) ahead of its release in March. Amazon is listing the pre-order for $23.99 with free shipping for Prime members or in orders over $35. That’s 40% below the regular $40 listing it still fetches at GameStop/other retailers and the best price we have seen. It is currently the best selling game guide on Amazon.

The book has a “gold foil stamped hardcover and leather-like look and feel—plus gilded pages!”. You’ll also be getting the Overworld Map “printed on high quality cloth”.

The release of the hardcover game guide coincides with the launch of the The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD remake for Wii U we told you about a couple months back. The game is also shipping with the new Wolf Link/Midna amiibo figure that will work with both this game and the upcoming Zelda release for Wii U (Prime members can currently pre-order it for $47.99).

Better yet, alongside the discount on the official game guide, Amazon has extended its new Prime “Pre-Order and Newly Released” discount to the Twilight Princess HD remake/amiibo bundle. Regularly listed at $59.99, Prime members can grab it right now for $47.99 shipped. That’s 20% below the regular listing and matching Best Buy’s GCU pricing.

Rise of the Tomb Raider Collector’s Edition features a 1-foot Lara statue, replica journal and more

Square Enix has now dropped the details on the Rise of the Tomb Raider Collector’s Edition for Xbox One. Set for release on November 10th, Rise of the Tomb Raider will take players though the remote regions of Siberia and beyond to uncover an ancient mystery surrounding immortality. It looks like we’ll be doing a lot more actual tomb raiding this time around, and now we have the full details of what to expect from the Collector’s Edition:

Along with the usual SteelBook cover and main game, you can expect a 12-inch tall statue of Lara in her climbing gear, a replica of Lara’s in-game journal, her jade necklace and what appears to be a pretty sweet-looking wood crate box to carry it all.

The $150 special edition is exclusive to the online Square store and the official Tomb Raider shop at this point. GameStop, Amazon and other retailers have some nice pre-order bonuses along with the main game, but we have yet to see a special edition of sorts pop-up anywhere else.

The Man of Steel was a box office hit in the Summer of 2013 and this collection has a commemorative Superman emblem with a glass stand.

Update (3/9 5:25pm): The Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Collector’s Edition on all platforms is now available for preorder on Amazon

Well, if you’re anything like me you have been waiting for an official release date on the highly anticipated launch of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. While series creator Hideo Kojima had previously stated that the game would hit sometime in 2015, we now know it will be available on PlayStation 3/4, and Xbox One/360 on September 1st, 2015. While the latest iteration of Metal Gear Online (MGO) is also scheduled to hit on the same day, PC players will have to wait another few weeks until September 15th to take control of Venom Snake.

Rockstar has announced the special and collectors editions of the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto V today. Pre-orders are currently now available from Amazon and GameStop. The Special Edition will run you $79.99 and will include GTA V along with exclusive artwork, a blueprint map, special ability boosts, stunt plane trials and additional weapons among other things.

The $149.99 Grand Theft Auto V Collectors Edition comes with everything above plus a GTA V New Era 9FIFTY snapback cap, unique in-game vehicles like the 1930’s style Hotknife hotrod and the CarbonRS sports bike among others and the GTA security deposit bag and key. Additionally, Rockstar has announced that even those who pre-order the standard $59.99 version of GTA V  will net themselves access to the in-game Atomic Blimp: “the most iconic and leisurely aircraft in the Los Santos skies.” More details and images below the fold:
