Definitive Edition Stories July 24, 2015

expiredGames/Apps: Sleeping Dogs DE from $22, Wii U bundle w/ Pro Controller & Power A kit $300, iOS freebies, more

Update (7/24 4:40pm): Palutena amiibo figure will be made available exclusively on Amazon today at 5:00pm est. She’s going to sell out so you’re going to need to get on the product page a few minutes early and refresh when the launch time hits. Good luck!

Update (7/24 10:35am): In case you missed it last night, Google has also kicked off quite a wide ranging app sale on its Play Store. You’ll find deep deals on titles like Hitman Go, Monument Valley, METAL SLUG, Botanical, The Room Two and many more.

In today’s best game/app deals, Amazon is offering the Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition for $21.74 on Xbox One and $22.99 on PS4, both with free shipping for Prime members or on orders over $35. Remastered for current gen consoles, this version includes 24 pieces of DLC including the story episode “Year of the Snake”. Regularly $30, this is the best price we can find. Amazon also has the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition for Xbox One at $19.99 Prime shipped (Reg. $30, same on PS4 but currently out of stock.)

Not only will you find deeply discounted iPads, MacBooks and headphones in the Best Buy Black Friday in July sale, but also some notable game deals. The real standout deal is the Wii U console (Splatoon or Super Mario 3D World version) bundled with a Wii U Pro Controller ($50 value) and a Power A gamer essentials kit ($20+ value) for $299.99 shipped ($370 value). While we have seen Wii Us go for as low as $260 here and there, if you want the Pro Controller this is one of the best deals we have ever seen.

You’ll also find The Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) Starter Pack across all platforms within $5 of the lowest we’ve seen and if you’re looking for a PS TV you can get one for free with the purchase of the Batman Arkham Knight PS4 bundle.

Late yesterday, Apple quietly launched a massive iOS sale with 100 popular apps/games for $0.99 each right after the new Free App of the Week hit. Down below you’ll find today’s Mac/iOS deals including FX Photo Studio, Phone Drive, Real Fishing 3D and many more:

Sony digital game sale: Tomb Raider DE $15, Rayman Legends $20, Batman Arkham titles from $8 ea, more

Update (6/16 4:57pm): If you spend more than $100 using your PSN Wallet on PSN from now through June 23rd, you will get $15 in free credit on your account.

Following Xbox and Nintendo, Sony has kicked off its own digital sale in celebration of E3 2015. There is a wide selection of PS4, PS3, Vita and cross-buy PSN titles available.

One standout from the lot is the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for $15 (Reg. $30). This game very rarely dips below $20 for the physical version and is 50% off its usual PSN listing. Another option is Rayman Legends on PS4 (or PS3) for $20, which rarely goes for less then $25 in physical form. You’ll also find the entire Batman Arkham series starting at $8 each, all less than the current price of the physical version.

Unless you prefer the digital copy, it always a good idea to check our daily Game/Apps roundup before purchasing as you may find some titles for less. Dragon Age Inquisition is $30 Prime shipped today on Amazon, $5 less than in the PSN sale, but rarely dips below $40 otherwise.
