IGN is now offering EA’s MASS EFFECT INFILTRATOR as its free game of the month.  Regularly listed at $4.99 and with 4 stars from 3,071 ratings, you can now download the game for free on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch for free via IGN’s deal page. We have seen the game go down as low as $1 several times on the App Store, but never free.

This is an all-new Mass Effect story set in the same universe as the events we remember from the main console titles. “As Commander Shepard battles Reapers across the galaxy, veteran Cerberus agent Randall Ezno procures aliens for illicit experiments at a secret facility. But when the Director of the facility goes too far – Randall fights back and vows to bring Cerberus down!”

After a bit of a wait, IGN has now announced OTTTD as July’s Free Game of the Month. Available on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, free promotional codes are available now. Regularly priced at $4.99, the game has dropped to $2.99 on the App Store previously, but this marks this first time we have seen the iOS version go free.

OTTTD (or Over The Top Tower Defense) is not your average tower defense game. It blends elements of real time strategy games, tower defense and giant, flying, undead sharks. While described as “anything-goes TD game that doesn’t take itself seriously,” there is an intense and tactical blend of RD and RTS gameplay at its core.

With additional game modes on the way, there are already 20 story missions, a unique and meaningful tempa-death system and boss battles, as well as a character class and leveling system. You can check out some screenshots and the gameplay trailer below.
