In today’s best game/app deals, Rayman Origins is now available for $4.99 on the Mac App Store. Regularly listed between $15 and $20 on Steam and elsewhere, this is matching the lowest price we have ever seen the game go for on the Mac App Store. Origins stars the titular limbless legend “in a magical adventure…When a invasion of nightmarish monsters threatens the peace and tranquility of The Glade of Dreams, it’s up to the limbless legend to rescue his idyllic home.”

The free open beta for the new DOOM title is bow available on PSN, Xbox Live and Steam. It will run from “April 15, 2016 T 12:00 a.m. ET…[and ends] April 17, 2016 T 11:59 p.m. ET.” The new DOOM is eligible for Amazon’s pre-order/new releases deal and can be ordered for just $47.99 shipped right now for Prime members.

Speaking of PSN, the stellar, throw-back platformer Shovel Knight is now on sale for just $10.04 via Sony’s digital PS storefront. This same deal applies for the PS4, Vita and PS3 versions of the game. Physical versions tend to sell for between $15 and $20. And don’t forget about the Shovel Knight amiibo which is currently in-stock at Best Buy with a free download code for Mini Mario and Friends amiibo Challenge. In today’s best game/app deals, the highly rated Rayman Origins for Mac is seeing its very first discount on the Mac App Store dropping from $20 down to $14 from now through March 9th.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is down to $14 shipped (Reg. $20) as part of Best Buy’s Deal of the Day and Call of Duty: Ghosts for Xbox One and PS4 is $40 shipped today on Amazon. If you’re looking for a discounted Xbox 360 with Kinect (w/ 3 games), Tech.woot has a nice bundle for $280 + $5 shipping, a savings of around $60.

Amazon is offering a bonus $10 credit towards new game releases (Infamous Second Son, Dark Souls 2, Yaiba) right now when you trade in at least $20 worth of games from now until March 16th.

Update #4: Call of Duty Ghosts is now available for $39 shipped at Best Buy today. Amazon also has the game for $40, which might be more suitable for some based on tax reasons. Some of the extra cash you’re saving can go towards the Ghosts DLC season pass, which brings a bunch of the game’s upcoming add-on map packs at an already discounted rate.

Update #3: The Xbox One is currently available at Amazon with free shipping.

Update #2: The price on GTA V appears to be fluctuating and is now sitting at $35, still a great price.

Update: GTA V is $20 shipped (Reg. $60) on Xbox 360 right now at Microsoft Store.

In today’s best game/app deals, various Street Fighter iOS titles have dropped to $1 including Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Street Fighter 4 Volt, Walmart is offering a $40 Gift Card with the purchase of a Nintendo 3DS XL, and don’t forget that the popular Rayman Origins (87 Metascore) released yesterday for the Mac.

For those interested in some more classic, casual Mac games, 9to5 and Mac Game Store have teamed up once again to offer the 9to5 Hasbro Mac Games Bundle, which includes Monopoly, Scrabble and Risk for just $10.   • Best Buy is still offering some great deals on Xbox One consoles and bundles, that ship by 12/24. There are bundles starting at $530 ($30 savings) including deeply discounted one year Xbox Live Gold memberships
  • Amazon’s $49 Xbox One and PS4 launch games, including AC4 Black Flag, Battlefield 4 among others.
