Update (12/31 1:30pm): In today’s best game/app deals, an Xbox One download of Sega’s Alien Isolation, widely acclaimed as the best video game ever based on the Alien movie franchise, is now only $30 at the Xbox Store, a 50% discount off the normal price; used disc copies can be had for $37. The Xbox Store is also selling the Alien Isolation Season Pass with five additional add-on packs for $15 (Reg. $30) for a limited time, while the Microsoft Store is offering a full-disc Xbox One version of Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs for only $20 (Reg. $60).

As time winds down on the official Xbox One price drop (you have until Saturday), Newegg has popped up with an interesting bundle option. While we are still seeing the $350 AC: Unity bundle w/ $50 gift cards attached at Amazon and Best Buy, among others, Newegg is offering the same bundle with a 12-month Xbox Live Gold membership and one free extra Xbox One controller for $349.99. The $50 GC might be more valuable to those not interested in a second controller, but this is technically the best value for your money available with the up to $120 worth of free goodies.

This week’s free iOS app courtesy of Apple is Space Qube. The blocky shoot’em up is regularly priced at $2.99 and can now be downloaded for free on all your iOS devices. This is the second time we have seen the game go free since release in late 2013.

Along with a custom, voxel-based ship editor that allows you to “create anything and take it for a spin” in space, Space Qube a series of unique enemies and boss battles to take on as well. Head below for more details…
