Brothers A Tale of Two Sons iOS puzzle-adventure game gets its first price drop: $2 (Reg. $5)

The critically acclaimed Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons from 505 Games is now available for just $1.99 on the App Store. Regularly listed at $5, this is the very first time the game has been discounted for iOS.

While its ratings are somewhat mixed at 3.5/5 stars from over 230 gamers, keep in mind the game received rave reviews on release and most of the complaints appear to be surrounding particular technical issues. The game features interesting puzzle and adventure elements along with a story that had some reviewers “moved to tears.”

More details and gameplay footage below:

The creators of Bastion, Super Giant Games, has now put one of its other excellent titles on sale. Transistor for iOS can now be downloaded for just $2.99, down from its usual $9.99 selling price. This is the very first time this year the game has dipped down below full price and is now matching the all-time lowest total we have tracked. The game’s interesting take on a strategic RPG with action elements and interesting environments earned it a spot on Apple’s “App Store Best of 2015 Selection.”
