VR headset Stories February 15, 2016

It is possible to make your own virtual reality headset, but for regular viewing, you might want something a bit more durable. DSCVR Virtual Reality Headset is strong yet lightweight, and it is currently $25 shipped through 9to5Toys Specials.

The DSCVR uses your phone to provide an immersive 3D view. It is compatible with Android and iOS devices up to the size of the Nexus 6 or iPhone 6 Plus. Your phone is held in place with a strong, grippy silicone strap, and you view the action through a pair of high quality 34mm bi-convex lenses. It works with all Google Cardboard apps, meaning you have a huge library of video content and games to enjoy. The headset is very portable, measuring only 2.2 inches at its thickest point, and it comes with a travel case. You won’t find a more affordable way to enter the virtual realm.

Order the DSCVR now to save 16% on the usual price, with free shipping.
