Activeon’s new 4K action camera uses solar power to provide six hours of recording

Action cameras have surged onto the scene in the last few years. GoPro has set the standard with top-of-the-line features and a whole slew of options for nearly every product category. One area that remains a concern is battery life. As cameras have become Wi-Fi-enabled and are now shooting at higher resolutions, recording time has suffered along the way. Parrot’s new DISCO drone hits the skies with 50MPH speeds and extended flight times

DJI introduces new 4K drone with a more affordable price, updates Inspire 1 PRO

Update (1/5 5:00pm): In a surprising move, Adorama has already discounted the Phantom 3 4K down to $799 (Reg. $999) ahead of its release tomorrow.

DJI today announced that it would be expanding its line-up of popular Phantom 3 and high-end Inspire drones. The most noteworthy addition comes way of the Phantom 3 4K which brings the higher resolution to its lowest price yet from DJI. Roku announces fresh 4K UHDTVs w/ HDR capabilities as 1080p models hit all-time low prices

Update (3/10 3:45pm): The first Roku-enabled 4K UHDTVs have landed over at Best Buy with prices starting at $399.99 shipped.

Roku is continuing its expansion in the world of HDTVs as it licenses its technology to manufacturers. After announcing the first 4K sets last year at CES, it is kicking of the 2016 show with news of increased expansion and fresh TCL UHDTVs. All told, Roku plans to release some sixty new models with its built-in OS system in 2016. Brands like TCL, HiSense and Insignia have seen steady growth since introducing its partnership with Roku. According to Roku’s press release, over one million units have shipped.
