Hands-on with Pokémon’s new Celebrations TCG

The Pokémon Company has been celebrating its 25th anniversary throughout 2021 so far, and today has launched a new expansion to its trading card game fittingly deemed Celebrations.

All-new Pokémon cards and classic reprints

Each of the new booster packs contains four of the exclusive new cards. You'll find everything from entirely new cards to reprints of classic releases from the very first Pokémon TCG collections.

Various bundles available

Alongside just releasing the booster packs, the Pokémon Company has released a few different collections for getting in on the Celebrations action. Each one includes several of the new packs to go alongside previous releases and some promotional jumbo cards, figures, and more.

Pokémon promos include this VMAX Pikachu

One of the coolest promotions is this VMAX Pikachu figure which comes with some of the bundle packages. The chonky figure will be just as collectible as the cards that come with the Celebrations pack and is a must-have for Pokémon fans.

This adorable Pikachu pin is now available, too

Another awesome inclusion in the Pokémon Celebrations lineup is this Pikachu pin, which can switch between two different designs. It's out of the ordinary amongst a TCG pack, but still lets you get in on the 25th anniversary festivities.
