Amazon launches Kindle Matchbook, offering Kindle versions of print books for $3 or less

Amazon has flipped the switch and made their new Kindle Matchbook program live for all Amazon users. It allows book lovers to get a Kindle copy of past, present, and future print-edition purchases for free, $0.99, $1.99 or $2.99. The Kindle copy is able to be enjoyed on any Kindle reader, PC, Mac, iPad, Android tablet or any smartphone with the free Kindle reading app. Matchbook already includes thousands of book titles and Amazon promises that more will be continually added.     Out of the many books I bought on Amazon over the years, I only found 4 books eligible for Kindle Matchbook (3 bought in 2001, 1 bought in 2005). So it seems like this will be limited.
