Samsung 120GB 840 Evo SSD: $90 shipped (Reg. $140), Kingston SSDNow V+200 60GB SSD: $40 shipped (Reg. $100)

Update: The Kingston Digital SSDNow V+200 60GB SSD is now Sold Out

Amazon has now dropped the price on the 120GB Samsung Electronics 840 EVO-Series internal SSD  down to $90 shipped. That’s $50 off the regular price, and the lowest Amazon has offered this drive for. The 2.5-Inch 840 EVO is triple the speed of its predecessor, up from 130 to 410MB/s in the 120GB configs. This SSD has received a 4.7 star rating out of 5 among Amazon customers.

The Microsoft Store has the Kingston Digital SSDNow V+200 60GB Solid State Drive for only $40 shipped. That’s $60 off the list price ($99.99) and the lowest we could find it for. Amazon carries it for $54.99 and their customers rated it well with 4.7/5 stars and excellent reviews. The Kingston runs silent and remains cool, and with no moving parts, it is less likely to fail than standard hard drives. It also comes with a 3-yr warranty.
