Existing Hulu Plus subscribers can tack on a free month of the service by following the process outlined below. While it is pretty common to see free month promotions for new subscribers, they almost never apply to existing account making this a very rare deal.

New users should use this special promo link to get 2 months free. Be sure to cancel the free trial before it expires or you will be rolled over into a standard account at $7.99 a month. (Updated)

Hulu Plus offers unlimited instant streaming of current hit shows, classic series and acclaimed movies. Watch any current season episode of top shows like Modern Family, Community, Revenge, and many more.

Check out this Cord Cutting 101 guide if you’re interested in making exorbitant monthly cable bills a thing of the past. Hulu Plus is available on most streaming media players including Apple TV, Roku, and Chromecast.

Process for existing users:

  • Login to Hulu.com like normal
  • Click on the special promo link
  • Click ‘confirm’ to apply the Hulu Plus credit to your account
  • Verify the promo has been applied by visiting your account page.
  • Enjoy!

link isn’t working for me, getting 404 error in a frame

    • Dan DeSilva - 12 years ago

You’re not alone. Promo seems to be over now.

  2. Jeremy (@jfron) - 12 years ago

It’s not working at all now using the link for existing users?

    • Dan DeSilva - 12 years ago

You’re correct. Looks like they met their limit for the promo or pulled it down because it was getting hit so hard.

  3. Adam Jenkins - 12 years ago

Special promo link no longer works, sends to 404.

    • Dan DeSilva - 12 years ago

Thanks for the heads up, looks to be dead now!

I have an existing account, I’m logged in, but I keep getting error 404 when I click on the special link. Guess I’ll just go back to my corner and draw shapes in the dirt.

    • Dan DeSilva - 12 years ago

Yep, just updated the post. The deal seems to be dead now. I’m sure they got slammed!

    getting an error page….

  6. Roberta - 12 years ago

I was told I was ineligible for the promotion, even though I have been a paid subscriber for years and not through iTunes. So much for that.

2 months if you were an existing customer as well. Just go in and cancel your account and hulu will offer you another month free if you stay. Take it then stay or cancel again. 🙂

  8. Drew Jolesch (@jolesch) - 12 years ago

Also if you are already a subscriber and you get the “1-month’ free, and you go and attempt to cancel your account it will offer you another month free. So I was able to get 2-free months even for already being a subscriber!

Thanks; worked perfectly (I think) It shows auto renew on 4/17 even though billing shows 3/17. I’ll know in a few weeks 🙂
