The above product photo appears to be of the 1TB (One Terabyte) model, a drive which is much slimmer. The 2TB version appears much thicker at almost three quarters of an inch thick.
WD uses the same set of images for both drives (http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=1130) – I noted the correct thickness for the 2TB model in the body of the deal (.7 inches). Thanks for reading!
