Existing and future Chromecast owners can get a free 90-day Google All Access trial

Google is celebrating the first birthday of Chromecast by giving out free 90-day trials of its All Access on-demand music service. During the past 12-months, Google says that users of its $35 streaming media player have initiated over 400 million casts of sports, music, movies and TV shows.

All current Chromecast owners and anyone who buys and sets it up on or before September 30th will be eligible for the extended trial. Please note that this offer excludes anyone who is already an All Access subscriber.

I’ve used the Chromecast since it was first released and when I go to redeem my offer after connecting to my device it gives me an error stating that this offer is only for new users…

Sounds like an error on Google’s part. Per the T&C of the offer: “Promotion only open to users in the United States who have purchased and set up a Chromecast on or before September 30, 2014.”

    • I live in Canada and had no trouble redeeming the promotion.
