AT&T has announced its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus trade-in offer and it’s one of the best we’ve seen from any carrier.
Starting on Friday, September 12th, AT&T will be offering a minimum trade credit of $300 for iPhone 5s and a minimum of $200 for iPhone 4/4s and iPhone 5/5c. That means anyone with a working iPhone 4 or newer can (at minimum) trade up to a new iPhone 6 for free. Unlike other carriers and trade-in services, AT&T does not restrict how its customers can use the trade credit.
Furthermore, you can also get a $100 bill credit “with the purchase of any iPhone when activating a new line of service with a smartphone on AT&T Next.”
Just like other carriers and Apple itself, AT&T will begin accepting iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus preorders starting tomorrow at 12:01 AM PST (3:01 AM EST). Head to your local AT&T store for more information on any of the aforementioned trade-in deals.
Not on AT&T? Here’s Verizon’s trade-in details. Also, Walmart is taking $20 (or more) off the new iPhones, while Radio Shack will be giving away free $50 iTunes gift cards.
