Specimen vintage-style horn speakers/amps 50% off: 19-inch Hornlet $1,200 (Reg. $2,400), more

Specimen, a small boutique audio company that creates custom made speakers, instruments and more, has now kicked off its Summer Sale. Over at the official site, a number of vintage-looking horn style speakers and amplifiers are available at deep disocunts. While certainly a pricey investment, even with the deal, these are gorgeous speaker systems that have been hand-made in Chicago since 1986.

One of our top picks from the lot is the Specimen 19-inch Hornlet audio speakers for $1,200 each with free shipping. There are multiple colors available from natural wood finishes to brighter colors like orange and and yellow. What started as a project for the Guggenheim Museum and  Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago can now be a piece of your home decor. They are entirely handmade from Baltic birch and a series of recycled, eco-friendly materials. More specs below.
