Samsung finally took the wraps off its latest flagship smartphones earlier this week. But before you run out and pre-order the new Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, you’re going to want to make sure you’re getting the best possible deal. Of course, there are the usual carrier financing offers and the free Galaxy Gear VR headset promo ($100 value), but some retailers are adding in even more pre-order bonuses to earn your business. Here are the best deals we’ve found so far:
Most notably, Target is throwing in a free $100 gift card, Gear VR and $50 Oculus content pack with eligible pre-orders. That’s a total value of $250. T-Mobile is including a free year of Netflix ($96+ value) with the Gear VR. If you pre-order from Best Buy, you’ll get a free 64GB microSD card and Gear VR, which is one of the weakest offers since the memory card is only worth about $20. When you buy or lease one of Samsung’s new phones from Sprint, you’ll have the option to get a second handset at half off. Verizon will sell you a bunch of memory or power accessories at a supposed discount, but I’d steer clear of this offer since the item values seem to be super inflated.
