Krispy Kreme is offering a free glazed doughnut to celebrate the “bountiful” doughnut harvest this year. Just stop in on April 1st to a participating Krispy Kreme to claim your free classic glazed doughnut. If your local Krispy Kreme is NOT a participating location it will be on this list.
BTW, This is not an April Fools prank by the company (we checked). This is a legit promotion being offered on April 1st, 2016.
Every day, guests around the world come to Krispy Kreme to enjoy the fresh, sweet-tasting doughnuts we’ve cultivated expressly for their delight.
Cultivated, we say, because each year the Doughnut Harvest yields hundreds of thousands of bushels of doughnettes—each one carefully nurtured from a doughnut seedling, then individually selected by our master doughnut growers at the peak of freshness—which are then brought into our shops for final glazing or hand-decorating.
This year, on account of the unusually fair winter, the Doughnut Harvest was especially bountiful. Now, for the first time, the surplus is so great we are inviting guests everywhere to join us in celebration.
The Doughnut Harvest Celebration takes place this Friday (4/1) at participating Krispy Kreme locations.
