ElectronicsValley (Top Rated Plus seller w/ 99.6% feedback rating from 26,550 buyers) via eBay Daily Deals offers Apple’s latest 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro 2.2GHz/16GB/256GB (model MJLQ2LL/A) for $1,599.99 with free shipping. That’s $399.01 less than retail and although it’s been slightly lower, today’s deal is a match for the best we’ve seen this year. As a further price comparison, Apple is currently charging $1,699 for it in refurbished condition.

Other features include a 2880-by-1800 Retina display, two Thunderbolt 2 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port, SDXC card slot, 802.11ac Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and dual microphones.

If you’re afraid that 256GB won’t be enough room, you could always pop an extra 64GB-256GB in this Mac with one of Transcend’s JetDrive Lite Expansion Cards. Prices range from $35 to $155. Your savings would easily cover that added cost. Or if you’re looking for external storage, Transcend’s high-performance Portable Thunderbolt Drives are currently on sale.

And in case you missed it… Apple’s 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro just received a big $300 discount and the 256GB 11-inch MacBook Air can be had for as low as $850 (Reg. $1,099). Both size iMac models are also on sale right now.

When we designed MacBook Pro with Retina display, we started with a blank slate. That gave us the freedom to imagine something radical, something entirely different. A notebook so thin, so light, and so powerful it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before. A notebook designed for the future, but ready to use today.
