Watch one movie a day, every day, 365 days a year, for just $90/yr

MoviePass has been a unique idea since inception. I’ve followed it for years and even have a MoviePass T-Shirt. I’ve never once bought their service, however. That is, until today. Before, their service was $10/mo, or $120/yr, and to me, it wasn’t worth that. Sure, if you see a few movies a week that pays for it in the end, but still, it’s $120/yr. Today, however, MoviePass decided to lower that price for a “limited time.” We’re unsure of exactly when this promotion will end, so if you want it, act fast.

With the current deal, MoviePass drops to just $90/yr. It breaks down to $6.95/mo with a one-time $6.95 processing fee. You must pay this in full at the time of purchase, and cannot cancel for a refund. Once you’re in, you’re in on this one. If you do decide to cancel, your membership will still be valid through the end of your 12-month period and you will not be able to sign up again for another 9 months.

MoviePass allows you to see one movie a day, every day of the week, every day of the year, without having to pay. It only applies to normal showings, and right now there is no way to pay an upgrade fee to see a “better” showing, like IMAX or Dolby.

With all the amazing movies coming out soon, this was an instant-buy when I saw it for me. Many friends even used it to get second cards.

If you have any other questions, MoviePass has more information about this sale in their FAQ. Or, if you’re like me and the page looks a little funky and you can’t see the “Register” button, just resize the browser window and it should show up.
