Best Buy offers the Nest Detect for $49 shipped. Normally $59, this is only the second time we’ve seen it go on sale and the best available. Part of Nest’s new Secure lineup for home protection, it’s rare we see discounts here. Detect is designed to help you monitor door and window movement when you’re not home when paired with Nest Secure. You can learn more about Nest Secure in our announcement coverage.

Also on sale at Best Buy is the Nest Tag for $20 with free in-store pickup. Regularly $25, we’ve never tracked a sale on the Nest Tag before now and this is the best available. Tag is built to help your Secure system know that you’re home and, more importantly, who’s home. Though reviews are light for both products, Nest is well-reviewed at Amazon.

Nest Detect features:

  • Works with Nest Secure
  • Look out for doors, windows and rooms
  • Open quietly
  • Know what’s happening at home

Nest Detect sensors can tell you two things: when a door or window opens or someone’s in a room. And with the Nest app, you’ll always know what’s happening at home.
