Amazon offers the AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 6 core 12 thread 4.2GHz CPU for $209.99 shipped. Normally $230, this is the first major drop we’ve tracked and is the best available. AMD recently announced the second-generation of Ryzen processors, of which this is a member. Though reviews are slim here, AMD’s Ryzen platform is well-rated. We even used it in our budget gaming build.
