Grovemade is well-known for producing finely crafted accessories for Apple devices and more. The company has now announced that its lineup of leather and wood iPhone cases and bumpers is available for iPhone XS and XS Max with XR versions coming soon.
Grovemade offers a beautifully finished iPhone bumper, case, and wallet case made from leather and wood. The products come in either walnut or maple finishes and the wallet case features premium vegetable-tanned leather.
Here’s how Grovemade describes its iPhone cases:
Intricacy and hand-finished quality unite in our flagship iPhone cases. We’ve been designing and building cases in our workshop since 2009. Our method remains unduplicated, ensuring a unique case made with premium materials.
The iPhone bumper runs $59 for iPhone XS and XR, while the XS Max version costs $69. The iPhone case is priced at $99 for XS and XR, and $109 for the XS Max. The leather and wood wallet case starts at $129, with another $10 premium applying for the XS Max variant.
The bumpers and cases for iPhone X/XS are available now, with those for the XS Max shipping to customers in 1-2 weeks. Orders for XR cases are expected to ship around December 10th.
Grovemade acknowledges that its finely crafted accessories aren’t for everyone with a buyer’s guide that spells out things like its unique warranty. It doesn’t recommend customers to buy its products if they “need something that’ll take a beating and keep coming back for more.”
While the dimensions of the iPhone X and XS are almost identical, the rear camera module is slightly larger on the XS. Grovemade has likely made the camera cutout just a bit larger on its cases to accommodate both models since wood isn’t a flexible material.
