Today only, as part of its Gold Box Deals of the Day, Amazon is offering the Vitamix 64 oz. A2500 Ascent Series Smart Blender in certified refurbished condition for $299.95 shipped. A new one sells for $519.95 direct from Vitamix and $489 on Amazon. The refurb, however, normally goes for $400, so you’re looking at a straight $100 in savings and a new Amazon all-time low. This high-end blender features connectivity with the Vitamix mobile app, built-in timer, preset blander settings, and a 5-year warranty. Rated 4+ stars. More details below.

Clearly you’re paying a premium for any Vitamix blender. Along with an amazing warranty, these blenders can handle smoothies and your usual stuff but this model can also make “steaming-hot soup without a stove in under 10 minutes” and more. If you don’t need a such a hardcore solution, Ninja’s Professional 72-oz Countertop Blender is a great choice at $84. Otherwise, one of these $18 personal smoothies blenders might do the trick.

Vitamix 64 oz. Ascent Smart Blender:

  • Program settings: three program settings for smoothies, hot Soup, and frozen desserts, ensure walk-away convenience and consistent results.
  • You’re in control: variable speed control and pulse feature let you fine-tune the texture of any recipe.
  • Built-in wireless connectivity: the motor base is able to read the container size you’ve chosen and automatically adjust program settings and maximum blending times accordingly.
