Walmart is offering the Coleman 54-Qt. Steel Belted Cooler in Black for $54 shipped. Originally $150, it sells for $121 direct from Coleman and at least $80 from Amazon third party sellers. Outside of a very limited Walmart deal on the red model back in June, this about $5 under the lowest price we have tracked within the last year or so. It can hold up to 85 cans and features a panted steel body with rubber grip stainless steel handles, rust resistant hinges, and a channel drain. Rated 4+ stars from over 1,100 Amazon customers. More details below.

At this price, the vintage-style steel exterior might be worth it for some but you will find other options for less. This slightly smaller Coleman has wheels and a handle for $40, much like Igloo’s 54 quart Marine Ultra Cooler.

Coleman 54 Qt. Steel Belted Cooler:

With the 54 Quart Coleman Steel Belted Cooler you can go back in time with cold food and drinks today. It looks just like the one you remember. The painted steel cooler is large enough to hold 85 cans, and the stainless steel handles with rubber grips make it simple to carry. The cooler is also extremely durable. The 54 Quart Coleman Steel Belted Cooler includes a solid steel latch that is designed to seal securely. Rust resistant hinges and screws protect against breaking, and a rustproof, leak resistant channel drains without having to tilt the cooler. The base, lid and liner are also easy to clean.
