Amazon offers the Hive View Security Camera for $119.99 shipped. Also at Walmart. Normally up to $200, it’s gone for around $150 or so at Amazon lately on average and beats our Black Friday mention by $6. It’s becoming essential to keep an eye on your home when you’re gone, and this camera is perfect for that. With 1080p video capture, Alexa integration, and a unique design, this camera stands out from the rest. Rated 3.8/5 stars and you can learn more in our announcement coverage.

For a more budget-friendly approach, check out Wyze Cam. You can get one for $26 shipped at Amazon, and each camera features 1080p recording and a small profile. I’ve got a few Wyze Cams around my house, and they’re great for budget-minded applications. Do note you’ll lose the battery-powered feature that the Hive View provides if you go with Wyze.

Hive View Security Camera features:

  • Peace of mind while you’re away: Starts recording in 1080p when it detects motion or sound
  • Two-way audio is great for telling a pet to behave or to say hello to the kids
  • Easy to move: Wireless, light and portable, with 1 hour built-in battery life
  • Works with Alexa, Google Home and IFTTT
